In his 35-year career, Kenneth Parsons has pioneered successful approaches supporting clients in software migrations across various major platforms before working exclusively in the government contracting industry with Deltek Costpoint supporting the companies who serve our nation. His government cost accounting experience includes the design, migration, and administration of government contract accounting job cost systems with an extensive background in compliance. In addition to a vast business acumen which led to the founding and success of PDS he supports clients in contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital funding, corporate restructuring, and business turnarounds.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Business Administration, graduate work in accounting and finance at the University of Tennessee and holds a Certified Financial Planner Certificate from the University of Tennessee. Prior to co-founding PDS Consulting Solutions with his partner Laura Davis, he ran a successful consulting business for over 10 years implementing Deltek Costpoint while providing other essential business services for small to medium size emerging companies. He is experienced, trusted and sought after by industry leaders due to the reputation he has built steadily over time in consulting and business development while working with innovative and cutting-edge thought professionals throughout his career.

Alisa has been a senior consultant with PDS for 7 years. She has over two decades of experience in accounting and finance and worked as a senior support analyst at Deltek for 3 years. She has a degree from Austin Peay State University and resides in Florida.

Amy has been working as the senior database administrator for PDS for 2 years. She helps with backend IT support and maintenance, database administration, and report writing. Amy began her career at CAE USA in Information Technology. She was involved in maintaining Costpoint and Cobra environments and various other applications. Amy holds a BS in Information Technology from the University of South Florida.

Brenda Selecman brings over 25 years of experience to the PDS Costpoint team. Her past experience includes extensive work with DOE and DOD government contractors and numerous commercial clients. She has a vast set of skills and expertise in all aspects of accounting including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Month End Closing and Reconciliation Processes. Additionally, Brenda has led up many successful Costpoint implementations, converting from legacy systems, and has completed Incurred Cost Submissions for governmental compliance. The Costpoint implementations cover Accounting, Projects, People, Materials, Process Management, Product Interface, Administration and Workflow modules. Brenda’s Business degree, personnel management experience and successful project management background has led to her role as the Costpoint Team Co-Manager.

Costpoint Materials and Adv. Manufacturing Practice Lead

Mr. Kepner is a 17-year veteran of Aerospace and Defense composite manufacturing supply chain leadership and is a Costpoint Materials and Advanced Manufacturing subject matter expert. Jesse joined our team in 2022 to lead our expanding Materials & Advanced Manufacturing consulting practice, specializing in delivering detailed business process assessments of your entire manufacturing/materials/SCM processes, to design & deploy optimal and efficient solutions for your business, utilizing the Costpoint ERP suite. His breadth of understanding and experience in the Materials/Manufacturing/Engineering sides of the business, coupled with his firm grasp of the accounting implications of all of these facets, gives him a unique ability to see the problem from all sides as he helps to design an optimized solution for your business.

Prior to joining PDS, Jesse spent 17 years with ATK/Northrop Grumman. Jesse began his career at ATK as an Electrical Design Engineer, specializing in RCS, Antenna, and Composite Radome design. He rapidly grew into a Sr. Supply Chain Leadership role and managed the multi-site supply chain function (spanning Procurement / Scheduling / Material Planning / Production Control / Logistics / Stores / Shipping / Receiving / Property Mgt.) with ATK/NG. He worked in aerospace composites manufacturing for the duration of his tenure with ATK/NG and is extremely familiar with the unique requirements associated with managing composite materials (i.e. out times, expiration dates, roll & lot tracking), metals manufacturing, and complex assemblies, in R&D, LRIP, and High Rate Production environments.

Jesse brings a unique skillset to the project team, pairing his engineering problem solving methodology with an extensive understanding of manufacturing and materials/SCM business processes. This broad business expertise, coupled with his deep Costpoint knowledge, leads to an ability to design end-to-end processes that best meet your business needs in an efficient and lean fashion, while considering all financial implications within the ERP. Additionally, Jesse has extensive experience designing and leading the successful deployment of a large number of complex API (integrations) and Extensibility functionalities highly integrated Costpoint ecosystems.

Jesse holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, an MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Wright State University, and his APICS CSCP Certification. Jesse is based in Dayton, OH near Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Jennifer is the Director of Marketing at PDS. A native Washingtonian with over 15 years of both domestic & international experience in a broad swathe of industries concentrated in PR, marketing, social media & events. She is responsible for providing our clients with everything they need to know about PDS support services including Costpoint implementations, accounting and compliance, upgrades, audit support and hosting for Deltek Costpoint and all add on products. She works to expand the PDS database of contacts to include those specifically who need Deltek Costpoint working on government contracts who serve our nation.

Lori Stafford has worked in Government Contracting, using Deltek products, since the late 90’s. Prior to joining PDS in 2017, most recently, she served as the Accounting Manager for 6 years at a private company where she successfully converted the business from GCS to Costpoint, in addition to all the normal responsibilities of the Accounting Manager role. Prior to that, she held various Finance, Accounting, & Costpoint Consulting roles in the industry, spanning Auditor / AP Manage / AR Accountant / Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant / Business Analyst / Accounting Manager / Costpoint Consultant.

Amongst many other Finance and Accounting areas that Lori supports for PDS clients (i.e. projects, billings, revenue, intercompany work orders, cost pools, month end close, and financial reporting, fixed assets), she is PDS’s primary SME for the Planning, Contracts/CRM, & Fixed Asset modules. Lori lives in Hillsborough, NC and holds a B.S. in Accounting.

Jarrod has over 16 years of experience in the advanced materials manufacturing industry, including 14 years with ATK/Northrop Grumman (NGC). During this time, he held various Supply Chain leadership roles, overseeing production control and operations planning, inventory management, MRP analysis, procurement, and logistics activities. In 2014, Jarrod was part of the ATK/NGC Costpoint implementation team, where he gained advanced expertise in Costpoint, TipQA, and EWI systems. Over the subsequent 10 years, he continued to work within the business, leveraging and expanding his knowledge of these systems. His numerous Supply Chain roles deepened his expertise in the materials modules within Costpoint, establishing him as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in many areas. Jarrod earned his Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He also holds APICS CPIM and CSCP certifications through the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).

Tommy has over 40 years of experience in all phases of operations, management, design and implementation of materials and manufacturing systems applications. In his 11 years with Deltek he worked for both domestic and global clients within Services, Manufacturing and Engineering industries, supporting ground, aerospace, defense, undersea, nuclear and healthcare markets. His areas of expertise include the Costpoint product line and aerospace/defense industry best practices. He is adept at facilitating sessions defining user requirements during design and configuration, driving data conversion requirements and validations, supporting interfaces and interaction with external systems, delivering end-user training, preparing and validating overall organizational considerations for system deployment and conducting productivity assessment audits, as well as presenting briefings to executives. Tommy has been an independent consultant since 2014 and since his first exposure to Deltek Costpoint has supported over 120 implementations including system evaluations, assessments and training.

Carol has been with PDS as a Senior Software Implementation Consultant and Accounting Support Consultant since August 2014. She works out of the Knoxville, TN office. Carol’s prior experience includes working as a Director of Finance, Controller and Accounting Manager. She has worked in government cost accounting using Deltek products for well over 35 years. In addition to working with the PDS team to implement Costpoint for various clients, she was also an end user of the Costpoint software for many years.
